Our custom built log home sits on 5 peaceful acres, nestled amongst tall evergreens in a park-like setting.  The serenity of the location, buried in the woods on a dead end gravel road, make it an excellent place to digest your days adventures. You get the best of both worlds when staying at our B&B - nature is right at your doorstep and it takes just a short ride to downtown Bellingham and all shopping facilities, culture & entertainment. Nestled between two major metropolitan cities and some of the most beautiful pristien wilderness in the world, there is access to whatever you could possible be seeking. It's only one hour to Vancouver, BC and 90 minutes to Seattle. If Skiing or Snowboarding are your passion you will find Mt. Baker Ski area a little less than an hours beautiful drive through the mountains. The San Juan Islands are accessible by ferry (or your own boat) and are - according to the League of American Bicyclists, the best and most popular place to bicycle in the United States. We are happy to share with you all all the spectacular activities that Whatcom County has to offer.

Kerstin has a German background. Before taking on her present career as a Realtor & the Innkeeper of the Hidden Log House, she worked in an adult rehabilitation center in Germany. Kerstin enjoys all outdoor activities, water sports, boating & fishing, horseback riding, gardening and animals.

Before working as a Mortgage Consultant Jack was a commercial fisherman in Alaska, a charter boat operator from Seward AK to St. Thomas in the Caribbean Sea and a Marine mechanic. He now revels in the sport fishing off the coast of WA and Canada. Like most boaters and fisherman Jack is always happy to share his knowledge.
